Kodak Alaris S3100 and S3100f

  Kodak Alaris smooth document handling

                  S3100f                    Unit Price: $5,140

      Kodak S3000 series scanners

                S3100             Unit Price: $4,711

The same goes for the new Kodak Alaris S3100 and S3100f scanners. Simlarly to the Fujitsu fi-7600 and fi-7700, the Kodak Alaris S3100 and S3100f models are relative newcomers.  They are extremely competive offerings, however, and should be considered if high throughput (daily duty cycle of 45,000 pages per day) and a small footprint are critical for your workplace.  The 300-page feeder on each model is a bit more than most competitors, and the embedded flatbed on the S3100f is a very clever design.  We see Kodak Alaris gaining a ton of momentum in the low-volume production market in 2021and beyond.

*One of our favorite features of the Kodak Alaris fleet of scanners (i2000 through i4000 Series) is the FREE Capture Pro Limited Software that is bundled with them.  Capture Pro Limited Software is one of the best free scanning software platforms we have used for out-of-the box scanning capabilities which include: single field indexing, drag and drop ocr and indexing, intelligent document separation (count, blank page or barcode), searchable pdf creation and intellgent image ehancement.

Kodak Alaris i5250, i5650 and i5850

Customer Review:  “We purchased an i5650 to replace two of our aging Kodak i840 scanners. The i5650’s batch sheet automation capabilities (auto resolution change, auto black and white/color change), auto-staple detection and high speed color scanning were all factors in our decision to buy this scanner. Since we purchased it, our scanning throughput per employee has doubled on average and has increased four-fold on some of our toughest scanning jobs. It’s a great little workhorse that delivers on the promise of a smaller footprint with the same Kodak quality and reliability!
